[Sarkari-Naukri] Distance B. Tech. Recognition Status

Hi Friends, I need your help…………….

I am Kamal Agarwal form Delhi. I am pursuing B. Tech. in Electrical
Engg. form Thapar University, Patiala through distance mode. This
course is recognised by Distance Education Council, when I taken
admission in this course. But recently a joint committee of UGC-AICTE-
DCE did not approve this course. This notification has appeared on the
website of Distance Education Council (www.dec.ac.in).

I had taken admission in this course in Sept'2008. I want to know, if
a complete this B. Tech., will this degree valid for government job &
is it necessary that a technical degree should be approved by AICTE.

Please guide me, if you have any information on this matter.
