Job Details

1. Joint Director

Pay Scale : Rs. 15,600-39,100 Grade Pay Rs. 7600/-
Age : 35 to 40 years
Qualification : Doctorate in Vegitable / Horticulture / Agronomy / Plant Pathology / Entomology or any other relevant subject relaxable to Master degree in the same subject with exceptionally distinguished record of productive research / extension / Vegitable Seed Production & Marketing & having atleast 9 years research / extension / Vegitable Seed Production & Marketing experience (excluding the period spent for obtaining Doctorate degree ) for candidate possessing a Doctorate degree and 12 years for having a Master degree. Preference will be given to the candidates who aloso have degree / diploma in the Agriculture Business Management , along with administrative experience in running of a Department / Institute.

2. Technical Officer (Entomology)

Pay Scale : Rs. 9300 – 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200
Age : 22 to 25 years
Qualification : Master degree in Entomology with atleast one and half years experience in similar field , relaxable to Bachelor deree in Botany having experience of 2 years in relevant field

3. Technical Officer (Plant Pathology)

Pay Scale : Rs. 9300 – 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200
Age : 22 to 25 years
Qualification : Master degree in Plant Pathology with atleast one and half years experience in similar field , relaxable to Bachelor deree in Botany having experience of 2 years in relevant field

4. Technical Officer (Horticulture)

Pay Scale : Rs. 9300 – 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200
Age : 22 to 25 years
Qualification : Master degree in Horticulture with atleast one and half years experience in the field of Spice Research & Development / Extension / Speed Production activities particularly Ginger , Garlic & Tapioca , relaxable to Bachelor deree in Horticulture having experience of 2 years in relevant field

5. Technical Assistant

Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20,200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 1900/-
Age : 22 to 25 years
Qualification : Graduate in Agriculture / Botany / Science or equivalent having atleast one & half years experience in similar field , relaxable to Diploma in Agriculture with at least three years experience in the relevant field.

Note Age criteria are further relaxable for departmental candidate or candidates having exceptionally distinguished record in the field , for above mentioned positions. All the above posts are transferable to any where in India.
